My name's Preston Jones, and Pristine Remodel Co. is just me, a solo carpenter who spent years as the finish guy on other people's crews. I was the one called in to make a project right: the trim that's installed flush and square, the paint applied evenly. The last ten percent that decides whether a room feels finished or just done.
I've been finishing drywall and painting since 2006, and working on whole-home renovations since 2010, across hundreds of homes, learning the trade one detail at a time. Since then I've been trained in electrical, plumbing, flooring, framing, insulation, fire suppression systems, and more. In 2024 I started doing this work under my own name, here in the Upstate.
Today I focus on what I do best: Accent rooms, Kitchen and Bathroom Renovations, with the kind of attention you only get when the person doing the work is also the person who answers the phone.
I'll put in as many hours as a job takes. Some weeks that means a seventy-hour stretch and still sitting down afterward to research a new product, dig into which solvent a finish actually calls for, whether that's naphtha, xylene, or turpentine, or build this website myself. I'll stop at nothing to get a detail right, even when it means hours of study no one will ever see. That kind of homework is where true quality comes from.
Detailed finish work, whatever the scale: a full kitchen renovation, a run of accent millwork, a barn-door install, or fresh paint through part of your home. If it comes down to the details, that's where I do my best work.
And I stand behind all of it. If something isn't right, I make it right.
